1. Can I have recipes shipped directly to family and friends?
Yes you can! Gift and Bake ships to the individual of your choice within the continental U.S. Just enter the ship to address as required.
2. How long will it take for my recipes to arrive?
Allow 3-5 days for delivery.
3. Do ALL necessary ingredients come with the recipe?
All dry and main ingredients are included and are measured and individually packaged. The only thing you will need to add are eggs and butter.
4. How long does it take to make the cookies?
For recipes that do not require chilling of the dough, total time from box to out of the oven is about 20 minutes for the first dozen. 7-10 minutes to mix the dough and typically 8-10 minutes of baking per sheet of cookies.
5. How many cookies does each recipe yield?
Each Gift and Bake cookie recipe yields 22-26 standard size cookies or more. They will make 50-80ea "bite sized" (1.5") cookies if desired.
6. What is the shelf life for the recipes?
Gift and Bake places a six month shelf life for our recipes. This is a reflection of the baking soda and baking powder manufacturer recommendations for use. These ingredients are leavining agents that may affect the final product. Still, our recipes can be used for up to one year (if kept in a cool dark place - such as your pantry).
7. How long will the baked cookies stay fresh?
Fresh homemade cookies do not contain the preservatives of mass-produced store bought cookies. Homemade cookies will stay fresh for 2-3 days when kept in an airtight container. However, if you are not going to bake or eat them right away, both cookies and dough can be frozen for up to 3 months!
8. Do you ship to international locations?
Gift and Bake ships to locations within the continental United States. Please use the contact form to obtain shipping costs for deliveries to Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii etc.
9. Do you offier gluten free recipes?
All current recipes are standard recipes that include sugar and gluten.
10. Are the ingredients used "all-natural"?
No. Gift and Bake makes no claims to using only all-natural ingredients. Although some ingredients are natural, we simply use standard ingredients to make old-fashioned delicous cookies.
11. Can I freeze my dough and/or cookies?
Yes, the dough and cookies can be frozen for up to 3 months.
12. Do you offer refunds?
We are certain that if you follow the included directions you will be extremely satisfied with our products. Because human error is possible in the baking process (over or under cooking for example) we cannot guarantee the outcome of your baking experience. What we can offer is advice toward ensuring you achieve the best possible results. Please see our Info Tips and Tricks page for more on this.
13. Do your products contain and/or are they processed in the same facility as peanuts or tree nuts?
We take the issue of allergies very seriously. Although we cannot guarantee that all manufacturers of our ingredients do not use the same facilities for processing nuts, we do not process our products in a facility with any nut related products.
14. How much does shipping cost?
Rates are calculated based on the number of recipes ordered.. Please contact Gift and Bake to obtain pricing for orders of 9 recipes or more. Shipping costs will be calculated prior to submitting payment for your order.
15. Do you participate in fundraising programs?
Each fundraising program and expectations are different. If you are interested in partnering with Gift and Bake on your fundraising program please submit your information through our contact page and we will get in touch with you.
